Do I need a log store?

Do I need a log store?

Two of the key criteria for storing your logs are that they need to be off the ground and have a good airflow around them. This keeps them from getting wet from the ground and helps them dry out in the wind.

Simply stacking the logs on a pallet with a trap over the top might be OK as a temporary measure but the covering can really restrict the airflow and trap moisture, sometimes doing more harm than good!

Log stores are a perfect home for your logs all year around, but particularly in the winter, so you have dry wood on hand for your much-needed fire. A practical and easy way of storing your logs, they also save huge amounts of space.

Built right, they can be a highly attractive accessory for your garden, as well as being highly functional.

Our log stores are not only great for keeping your logs dry but they are also perfect for green/wet wood to become seasoned; a log store means that when it is left outside and open to the elements, there is adequate air flow around the wood as well as protection from the falling rain.

All our log store are built to your specification and will enhance your garden in the summer months whilst also serving an important function in the winter months. Why wait?
